Katie Halliday has been performing professionally as a singer, songwriter and entertainer for the last ten years.

At the age of 16, Katie decided that her chosen career would be singing! She started out by receiving professional voice coaching which she continued having for over 10 years by the late “Lou Fyne”. He had worked in the seventies for EMI Music, formed the “Real Thing” (“You To Me Are Everything”) and was Hughie Green’s right hand man for the famous “Opportunity Knocks” show.

Singing at someone's wedding is such a special thing to me and I like to offer a personal, friendly, approachable and professional hassle free service.

I really enjoy singing laid back love songs by artists such as Shania Twain, Norah Jones, Celine Dion, Katie Melua and Bryan Adams,this led to the idea of providing ambient background music to compliment the atmosphere of a romantic wedding.

I can sing at the church during the service, whilst the bride and groom are signing the register. I can also perform romantic, laid back tracks before or during the "wedding breakfast".

I can also get the party going with up beat dance spots for the evening entertainment programme. With over 10 years of live experience, guests will be up dancing the night away!!!
