Sheena Rowley loves music has been performing live with her guitar, song-writing and singing since she was at Primary School! She particularly enjoys playing at weddings - such a happy atmosphere! The music she plays is ideal for a wedding service or the reception, for restaurants or pubs. What she does with her voice and guitar helps to create a relaxed atmosphere and it's music that can either blend in as background music or be lovely to listen to (or sing along!). She plays a mixture of well known songs from the 60s to present day.

Her credits to date include having been the support act to Glenn Tilbrook once (of Squeeze) and having had a regular solo spot performing at the Comedy Store. Also, she has recorded her accoustic version of the dance single 'Mirage' by Hemstock & Jennings with the duo. (Les Hemstock was formally known as Jive Bunny.) She has also performed live with this internationally known dance production team, singing in a large nightclub, with them on the decks. She is confident and experienced at performing at many different sorts of venues: pubs, clubs, festivals etc and has also done a fair bit of recording. She is a very friendly person who is easy to get on with and would love to come and provide some entertainment at your gathering!

Sheena's favourite kinds of songs to play are happy songs and love songs, like 'Eternal Flame' by The Bangles, 'Please Forgive Me' by David Gray and 'How Sweet It Is' by Marvin Gaye. She also loves playing upbeat songs with her guitar like 'Ring Of Fire' by Johnny Cash, 'Mrs Robinson' by Simon & Garfunkel and 'Big Yellow Taxi' by Joni Mitchell to name but a few. She loves to play her accoustic versions of dance tunes like 'Silence' by Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan, 'Sweet HArmony' by The Beloved and 'My Vision' by Seal. She also has many songs of her own that she loves to share. Her repertoire is large and always growing, she can easily provide a 2 hour set or more.

For later on in the evening, she has a growing collection of backing tracks that she enjoys singing along to...some chilled ones like Norah Jones and Gabrielle and some upbeat dance ones like 'Groovejet' by Spiller and 'I Feel Love' by Donna Summer.
