We believe the wedding disco or DJ will either make or break your day. We are not a disco agancy we provide only professional DJ’s who are exclusive to Hipswing all our wedding DJ’s are of the highest standard and are smartly dressed for your wedding, this is how we ensure that your event will be one to stand out from all the rest.
The disco includes a star cloth at the front of the disco and then a number of effect lights rigged across the top which consist of projected gobo images and led effects, all of which are controlled via a laptop using a DMX program.
This allows us to create dynamic lighting effects for different moods. For example at the beginning of the evening we can keep the lights on in a static state creating a slow rotating effect of lights across the dancefloor, then later in the evening we can access pre programmed effects which are unique to Hipswing and light the dancefloor with eye catching colours and effects.
In addition to this because we can control the lights completely we can tailor make the lighting to co ordinate with your wedding theme, for example if you only want green and blue lights we can limit the colour spectrum. All aspects of your evening can be discussed in person prior to your big day either with our lighting expert or directly with the DJ.
If you book your wedding or party with us, we will give you FREE access to our online Guest Request Service where you can build your own requests online, you can send the unique user ID and password to your guests with their invitations and via the Hipswing website they can log on and make music requests for the evening.
Of course if you want to leave the choice to us, we’ll be happy to judge the mood on the night. Our DJs are well versed in ‘reading a crowd’ and are there to play for you and your guests, not for themselves! We recommend that your play list contains a maximum of 30 ‘must-plays’, 20 ‘nice-to-hears’ and the ‘do not plays’ to give us a guide, you are of course welcome to arrange for the DJ to play your own CDs/MP3s for those real rarities! The DJs will also accommodate other requests on the night, ensuring that no-one goes home disappointed.
We can also supply a bespoke background music service, chosen by you for the arrival of your guests and during the wedding breakfast or meal, and supply radio microphones for the speeches.
