All the band members are experienced musicians and they formed in July 2006. They have established a local reputation in their home-town of Stoke-on-Trent and have gathered a loyal following since then as they are one of the most popular new bands in the area. Robin is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Jamie is the lead guitarist and vocalist. Scott is the bass player and vocalist and James is the drummer and vocalist. Check this out: Stepping Lane celebrated their 100th gig on 30th June 2007 playing at a wedding bash in Stone, Staffordshire. The amazing thing about all of this is that Stepping Lane's first ever gig was on the 31st July 2006 at Fat Cats, Hanley and in the first 12-months of the bands history the band has played 100 gigs in exactly 11-months. What are the chances of that?!! This is obviously one for the Guiness Book of Records boys and girls!!! The first band in history to do 100 gigs in exactly 11-months in their first 12-months starting out as the hottest new band on the local scene!
