Just like the real Abba, UK Bjorn is made up of two husband and wife pairs, bringing a close on stage chemistry. Our couples have slightly broken from the mold with Bjorn being married to Frida and Benny to Agnetha, but we don’t want to be accused of taking our Swedish roles too seriously!

The String Beans were formed in 2014 by professional guitarists Jake Stentiford and Chris Twigg. The plan was to play a mixture of old gypsy jazz standards and modern day rock/pop classics with a gypsy twist. Having quickly made an impact on the Manchester acoustic scene with their first live shows at the end of the year, the duo has since expanded into a variety of line ups that can now offer vocals, upright bass, violin and drums as well.
